What it is
Pumpkin pie in a cup, no sugar needed - enough said!
Why you'll love it
This blend is caffeine-free and will either help ring in the fall, or transport you back if enjoyed outside the season. Full of traditional fall notes, it has the unexpected spice of pink pepper for a unique and subtly spicy autumn flavor. It has a chai-like quality, so adding black tea would be fantastic to add even more depth of flavor (try it with Ceylon Kenilworth).
Ingredients
Pumpkin cubes, apple pieces, cinnamon pieces, ginger cubes, turmeric roots, cinnamon rods, cloves, cardamom (whole), pink pepper
Tea Cocktail Recommendations
Look no further for a hot toddy than this tea! Add some bourbon and a splash of almond or oat milk.
Directions
Iced 16oz cup: 3 tsp tea steeped for 5 minutes in about 8 to 10 ounces of water at 205 F. This concentrates the tea a bit so your beverage isn't watered down. Fill glass with ice, and pour and strain brewed tea into your glass. Enjoy! Hot: 1 tsp per 8 ounces of water steeped for 3 minutes. Strain and enjoy!
