Green Tea Moscow Mule Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup chilled green tea
- 1/2 cup ginger beer
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedge or slice and mint sprig for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Green Tea: Brew the green tea by steeping 1 green tea bag or 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves in 1 cup of hot water for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag or leaves and allow the tea to cool. Refrigerate until chilled.
Combine Vodka and Lime Juice: In a copper mug or a highball glass, combine the vodka and fresh lime juice. Stir to mix.
Add Ice and Green Tea: Fill the mug or glass with ice cubes, then pour the chilled green tea over the ice.
Top with Ginger Beer: Gently pour the ginger beer into the mug or glass, filling it to the brim. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with a lime slice and a sprig of mint for a refreshing aroma and a beautiful presentation.
Tips:
- Adjust the amount of ginger beer to taste to make the Moscow Mule more spicy or sweet.
- The copper mug is traditional for a Moscow Mule as it keeps the drink colder longer, but any glass will work.
This Green Tea Moscow Mule offers a delightful twist on the classic cocktail, blending the antioxidant benefits of green tea with the spicy kick of ginger beer. It's an invigorating drink that's perfect for sipping on a hot day or serving at gatherings for a refreshing, sophisticated option.
